Monks play sports too!

A fluid dance or an effortless basket? A monk throws a basketball on August 11, 2011.

Tibetan monks from the Gaden Shartse Monastry in India visited Crested Butte, Colorado in August as part of an educational and cultural tour to spread peace and understanding. During downtime before their performance on August 11, Nyimadhondup, Tengye and Sangey  dribbled a basketball at the local park. Flowing crimson robes could not prevent the monks from dunking the ball and dashing around the court in a pick-up game with kids curious to join them.
